Utilitarian lifestyle label Best Made looks to heritage hardware manufacturing in the Japanese “Higo” Knife. A unique model which debuted in 1894 by Japanese blacksmith Sadaharu Murakami, the Higonokami knife has been a popular tool through the decades. Now Best Made has teamed up with Miyamoto Manufacturing Co to continue the Higo tradition with this special piece. The blade is crafted with laminated white steel, and features a hand-hammered finish.

Engraved branding and emblazoned lettering boldly round up the piece. Priced at $65 USD, the “Higo”Knife is now available from Best Made.
