Winston Yeh of Taiwan-based company Rough Crafts took to personalizing his own Harley-Davidson Sportster, already one of the most customized bike models in the market. Dubbed the “Slate Hammer,” Yeh’s custom Harley’s look is café racer in style with a narrow rear end, and sports a clean, grey paint job.
The model is based off the 2012 Sportster Forty-Eight and is fitted with an S&S Super-E carb conversion for extra airflow. The bike features a replica Dunstall GT half-fairing, fabricated headers, a custom-made Spark muffler, San Diego Customs’ specially-forged aluminum wheels anodized in black and a blacked-out engine that’s been enhanced with Rough Crafts’ finned air cleaner and 2 Abnormal Sides’ pushrod collars. The seat is made of diamond-quilted leather supplied by Back Drop of Japan. These images of the final “Slate Hammer” project were shot at the Aston Martin Taiwan showroom.
