Having garnered a reputation and subsequent following for being one of the few places outside of Japan where consumers could get their hands on brands such as OriginalFake and Deluxe, INVINCIBLE has also been at the forefront of numerous collaborative projects with an inclination towards producing rare footwear.
Serving as one of Taipei’s landmark stores, INVINCIBLE’s latest store concept is refined and mature with the adoption of a highly polished, minimal aesthetic that is presumably easy to shop and maintain — serving well to not detract attention away from the quality of products stocked within its walls. In addition to their already impressive brand list, INVINCIBLE will now be stocking the likes of visvim, SOPHNET, F.C.R.B, uniform experiment, retaW and Jason Markk. Footwear is rumored to remain one of their main priorities as they continue to stock and collaborate with the very latest collections from brands like Nike, adidas, Reebok, New Balance and ASICS.
Stay tuned to INVINCIBLE for more information on its reopening and efforts to continue introducing large European consumables into the Asian market.
Having spent a better half of the year celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Instapump Fury trainer, Reebok kicks off its second round of tributes with a focus on the iconic Pump silhouette. First up is Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE and its tennis-inspired colorway.
Be on the lookout for the INVINCIBLE xReebok Pump 25th Anniversary sneaker to drop at select retailers in the coming weeks.
Reebok is celebrating a quarter century of the Reebok Pump with a new set of collaborations centered on the iconic silhouette. First up is Taiwanese retailer INVINCIBLE‘s contribution — a design inspired by a tennis player who’s the youngest ever to win a Grand Slam singles title. Singling out his polo shirt worn during the French Open as a primary reference, INVINCIBLE’s take features a white leather base with lively purple and teal accents — a combination that captures the on-court style of the late ’80s and early ’90s.
Led by Jimmy Wu, Taiwan streetwear giant INVINCIBLE has churned out several sought-after collaborations in the last few years. Aside from a coveted collaboration with the now-folded OriginalFake back in 2011, joint ventures with the likes of Reebok, New Balance and Converse First String Jack Purcell continue to position the label at the forefront of street culture. Outside of INVINCIBLE, Wu’s expertise in the field lends itself to his role as director for Red Wing Shoes and Carhartt WIP in the Taiwan region. Simple yet meticulous, Wu’s aesthetic tastes can most clearly be seen in his designs for the interiors of INCINCIBLE’s five retail locations as well as in his latest Essentials for us.
Adhereing to classic styling, Wu displays his affinity for clean, minimal designs with his COMME des GARCONS Coin Wallet, Marc Jacobs Card Holder and Bottega Veneta Wallet. A Carhartt phone case and name cards reinforce his affiliation with the heritage workwear label, while his staple laptop and phone are never far from his grasp.
