N.HOOLYWOOD (Japan) x arflex “Marenco” Armchair

Japanese brand N.HOOLYWOOD has teamed up with Italian contemporary furniture brand arflex on its iconic “Marenco” armchair. Celebrating the remodeling of Isetan Shinjuku’s home interior floor, the armchair features an all-over graphic print, boasting various sentences printed in black against cream, for a modern and eye-catching addition to any living space.

The “Marenco” armchair is known for its revolutionary system in assembling the the seat and armrest to the base. This special iteration will be available near the end of March at Isetan Shinjuku.

Tokyo-based interior store Mid-Century MODERN and fashion imprint N.HOOLYWOOD have teamed up for the first time since 2012 to release a capsule collection in celebration of the interior store’s 20th anniversary. The offering consists of a special edition of N.HOOLYWOOD’s “Under Summit Wear” series shirts, which has been a brand staple from the very beginning.

The pocket shirts are manufactured out of vintage “Six Stripe” fabric designed by Alexander Girard and come in a special amenities box. Priced at ¥10,000 JPY (approximately $92 USD) and ¥18,000 JPY (approximately $165 USD) respectively, the Mid-Century MODERN x N.HOOLYWOOD pieces are available now at the Mid-Century MODERN stores as well as on the commerce app Origami.

In collaboration with Tokyo brands fragment design and N.HOOLYWOOD, Japanese concept label the POOL aoyama has released a lineup of reinterpreted American military flight jackets. Apart from the main body, all the components of these jackets were sourced from original vintage military fabrics and dyed in a striking deep black colorway. The pieces are finished off with respective branding in calligraphic fonts on the sleeves.

This unique collaboration launch on September 13 to celebrate the reopening of Tokyo’s the POOL aoyama store. Keep a lookout for the collaboration in-store as well as online.

Japanese brands N.HOOLYWOOD and Casio collaborate with G-Shock DW-5600NH-1ER

For its latest collaboration, Casio G-Shock teamed with Japanese fashion label N.HOOLYWOOD to release the DW-5600NH-1ER digital wristwatch. Resembling a military-specific “standard issue” timepiece, this mostly black watch features a resin band, multi-alarm, 1/100th second stopwatch, full calendar, countdown timer and all of the DW-5600’s basic functions.

You can expect to see this piece at select stockists later this month.
